My child has lost his/her schedule or needs to make changes. How do I go about this process?
Students are encouraged to come to the guidance office before or after school or during a directed study to solve any issues of scheduling or lost schedules. We encourage students to write or tape their schedule into their assignment notebook, thus decreasing the “lost schedule phenomenon”. Our team of counselors and secretary will be more than happy to assist your child.
My child has been out of school due to an extended illness (3 or more days). What should I do?
Please contact your child’s guidance counselor. We will be able to contact his/her teachers for work that can be picked up or sent home to your child. You can also contact his/her teachers directly via email. If you choose to contact teachers directly, please Cc us the email so that we may track the progress of your child getting the work.
How do I contact my child’s teacher?
All high school staff emails can be found on the Triton High School website. Please feel free to contact teachers at any time. If you are unable to reach a teacher call the Guidance Department, we will be able to help you.
How does my child get a worker’s permit?
Worker’s permits are available in the guidance office. Students should come in before or after school or during a directed study to get the applications from our secretary, Mrs. Shealy. As soon as all required paperwork is on file, your child will be issued his/her worker’s permit.
