Dr. Kristen Lazzaro, Director of Guidance
Kristen Lazzaro has been a member of the Triton staff since 1993.  She began her career here as a science teacher (formerly Ms Bell) moving into the guidance department in the fall of 2001.  She holds both a B. S. in Biology and a M.Ed. in Secondary School Counseling from Salem State College. She received her Doctorate of Education degree in the spring of 2009 from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  Dr. Lazzaro was awarded Director of the Year by North Shore Guidance Director’s in 2006. In 2009, she was awarded Administrator of the Year by the Northeast Counselor's Association.

Mrs. Meghan Ober, Counselor
Meghan Ober has been a member of the Triton Staff since 2005.  Mrs. Ober holds a B.A. in Psychology from Gordon College and a M.S. in Applied Educational Counseling from Northeastern University.  Currently she is pursuing a C.A.G.S. degree in Educational Leadership from Salem State College.  She was awarded the Rookie of the Year award in 2007 by the Northeast Counselor’s Association

Ms. Karen Christian, Counselor
Karen Christian has been a member of the Triton Staff since 1995.  Ms. Christian holds a B. A. in Psychology from Southern Connecticut University, a M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and a C.A.G.S. in Educational Leadership from Salem State College.  She is currently the varsity girl's basketball coach.  She was awarded Counselor of the Year in 2003 by the Northeast Counselor’s Association.

Dr. Erik Champy, Counselor
Erik Champy has been a member of the Triton staff since 1994.  He began his career here as a teacher at Salisbury Elementary School, moved to the middle school guidance department in 2003 and transitioned to the high school guidance department in 2009.  He holds both a B.S. in Elementary Education and M.Ed. in Counseling from Salem State College.  Erik earned his doctoral degree from NOVA Southeastern University in 1999.   Dr. Champy is the President of the Salem State College Alumni Board and volunteers with the Massachusetts Teachers Association.  In 2008, Dr. Champy received an Exceptional Educator Award from the adult honor society at Salem State College.  Dr. Champy received Counselor of the Year from the Northeast Counselor Association in 2010.

Mrs. Kristen LeBlanc, Guidance Counselor Intern 

Kristen LeBlanc joins the Triton guidance department this year as an intern.  Kristen is currently pursuing her M.Ed in School Counseling at Salem State University and is completing her required practicum hours at Triton.

Mrs. Diane Shealy, Guidance Secretary
Diane Shealy has been a member of the Triton staff since 1996, working as a substitute teacher and main office secretary.  She moved to the guidance department in 2002.  Mrs. Shealy holds an A.R.T. in Medical Records from Northern Essex Community College.
